Files Module not working (Stuck at Retrieving data)

Hello,

I am new to PyroCMS so forgive me if this question has already been asked and/or resolved. I have inherited a website for a client that is currently built on PyroCMS 2.1 through Webhosting Buzz. They migrated their server a couple of weeks ago and we have had nothing but problems with our website since.

We have managed to get the website up and running with access to the admin dashboard except when clicking on Files in the Content menu, a red bar appears at the top and Retrieving data... on the right. Nothing is viewable or clickable in the places section with the same red bar. Need help determining what files/folders are associated with the Files Module in order to isolate the problem or configuration.

Is there any way to rebuild or repair the core modules?

Hmm.. unfortunately that does sound like a mess. Any 404 / JS errors being thrown in your browser / console?

You can always download and upload / replace core addons / system directories from github for the 2.1 branch: https://github.com/pyrocms/pyrocms/tree/2.1/master

Since it is pyrocms 2.1, I think maybe somehow they upgraded PHP to version 7 or so, and because some of this some notices start to appear?
