Abiraterone Acetate: An Anticancer Drug
Created 2 weeks ago by anniepery

Abiraterone Acetate is derived as an anticancer drug and used in the treatment of prostate cancer. It works by preventing androgen production in man. This is done by inhibiting CYP17, responsible for the production of androgen. Uses of Abiraterone Acetate are specifically recommended along with a corticosteroid for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) & metastatic high-risk castration sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC). Abiraterone comes as tablets to be taken orally (mouth) on an empty stomach with water, 60 minutes before or 120 minutes after eating any food. Abiraterone is usually taken once or twice daily. Take it around the persistent time every day.
