Created 5 months ago by marykudro

Cisplatin is a chemotherapy medication used to treat cancers of testicular, ovarian, lung, breast, head and neck, cervical, esophageal, bladder, mesothelioma, brain tumors, and neuroblastoma. The standard dose of cisplatin is administered by injection into a vein. Use of cisplatin during pregnancy may cause fetal harm to the baby. The price of cisplatin in India usually varies from around Rs. 63 to Rs. 590 for a supply of a vial of 1 injection. Cisplatin falls under the platinum-based antineoplastic family of drugs. It acts in part by binding to DNA and blocking its replication.
