Xeljanz is an oral drug used to treat adults with moderately to severely active RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) in cases where methotrexate did not work well and psoriatic arthritis. Xeljanz side effects that people experience while taking it are headache, runny/stuffy nose, feeling sick and joint pain. It works in order to block the body’s formation of enzymes known as Janus kinases (JAKs). Janus kinases play a role in joint inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, which can cause pain, swelling, and stiffness.
