The use of Sirolimus medication is to prevent organ transplant rejection and treat a rare lung disease called lymphangioleiomyomatosis. It is also known as rapamycin. It is used in the prevention of any failure in kidney transplants. Sirolimus tablets are to be administered orally once in a day, consistently either with or without meal/food. Common side effects of Sirolimus may include hypertriglyceridemia, peripheral edema, fever, hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia.
