Created 3 weeks ago by marykudro

Etanercept is a biological medicinal product. It is used for treating autoimmune diseases by interfering with tumor necrosis factor (TNF), a soluble inflammatory cytokine, by acting as a TNF inhibitor. The etanercept injection uses include rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, plaque psoriasis and ankylosing spondylitis. The usual dose of Etanercept is injected subcutaneously (under the skin). It is usually injected once a week. When etanercept is prescribed to treat chronic plaque psoriasis, it can be injected twice weekly during the initial three months of therapy and then once weekly following the initial three months.
