Sorafenib medicine is used to treat liver, kidney, and thyroid cancer and comes under the brand name Nexavar. It works by slowing down the growth of cancer cells. The patient needs to take the Sorafenib tablet by mouth on an empty stomach as prescribed by the doctor. The Sorafenib 200 mg dosage depends on your medical condition like any allergies or any side effects. It is not advised for pregnant or who may become pregnant to take the medication. Some common side effects are weight loss, nausea, vomiting dry skin, mouth sores, tiredness, and high blood pressure.
