Palbociclib, is a medication developed for the treatment of HR +Ve and HER2 -Ve breast cancer. It is a selective inhibitor of the cyclin-dependent kinases CDK4 and CDK6. The recommended dose is palbociclib 125 mg, which should be taken once daily with food along with an aromatase inhibitor or fulvestrant for 21 days followed by the 7 days off treatment. Patients are encouraged to take their dose of palbociclib at around the same time each day.
